Jaggery Bags - Product Care

Under no circumstances should you dry clean, machine wash, or iron your Jagerry Bags product. We have detailed the very best way to care for your products on this page. With the proper care, your purchase will give you many years of use.

II | Auto Seat Belt care

Place 1 drop of mild liquid dish soap on a soft-bristled toothbrush. Rub the soiled areas of the purse with the soap-covered toothbrush bristles. Blot the area with a damp, absorbent lint-free cloth. If stains remain, pour 1/2 teaspoon of pure acetone into a small container. Dip a section of a clean, absorbent cloth into the acetone. Blot stained areas of the seatbelt purse with the acetone-soaked cloth, then blot the same areas with another section of the cloth soaked in water. Allow the purse to air-dry completely in a well-ventilated area.

III | Kids Inflatable Castle Tarpaulin (Bouncy) care

Please do not machine wash, dry clean or iron your Tarpaulin bag. Never use detergent or solvent cleaners. Remove as much dried debris and dirt with a brush first. Then apply cold water to the dirty surface. Never use warm or hot water by placing product directly under the tap. Gently use a soft scrub brush or wet sponge on the damp bag, rinse, and let it dry. As a last resort for stubborn stains, a mild bar soap may be used. Make sure to test a small inconspicuous area first. Too much soap will prematurely strip away the protective wax coating on your canvas.

IV | Waxed Canvas Care

Please do not machine wash, dry clean or iron your waxed canvas bag.

Over time, the waxed coating on your canvas bag may wear away in spots.  We recommend touching up (reproofing) your waxed canvas with any Original Wax refinishing compound every 1-2 years, which can help restore the original factory look and protect your bag against the elements.

V | Inner Tube Care

Please do not machine wash, dry clean or iron your inner tube bag.  You may spot clean with a damp cloth and a solution of mild soap and water. Make sure not to get any soapy water on any waxed canvas parts of your bag. Rinse soapy areas thoroughly. Inner tubes can also be periodically reconditioned with rubber/tire conditioners found in many automotive stores. Do not apply these conditioners directly on the bag. Instead, apply the conditioner to a clean cloth and rub the cloth on the inner tubes. This conditioning treatment will restore the glossy soft look and extend the life of your bag by helping to prevent the rubber from becoming brittle and cracking.

VI | Liner Care

Our liners are made from a water resistant, durable, easy to clean ripstop nylon or cotton canvas. It may be helpful to turn the bag inside out to remove all loose debris before wetting the material. You may use a mild solution of soap and water to spot clean any soiled areas.
